Chris Chandler
Chief Executive Officer
Chris Chandler was named Chief Executive Officer of Monroe Regional Hospital in Aberdeen, MS, in October 2017. Mr. Chandler has more than 18 years of healthcare operations experience.
Before joining Monroe Regional Hospital, Mr. Chandler served as the CEO of Pioneer Community Hospital of Aberdeen for 3 years, where he was responsible for all hospital, clinic, and ancillary services. He was also the Corporate Patient Services Director for Pioneer Health Services for 4 years, including clinical oversight of multiple facilities across the southeast. Chris was instrumental in developing and implementing standardized clinical protocols, policy and procedure, quality adherence programs, and patient-centered care methodologies.
As a member of the company’s Quality Management System Board, he strategically helped lead the corporation’s facilities to obtain highly coveted DNV accreditation and ISO certifications. Before that position, Mr. Chandler has served in a variety of other hospital settings, including Chief Nursing Officer (Ackerman, MS), Nurse Manager (Houston, MS) and Emergency Room Staff Nurse (West Point, MS). Chris’s patient-centered background and genuine desire to serve his community uniquely equip him as a healthcare executive.
Mr. Chandler received his bachelor’s degree in Nursing from MUW in Columbus, Mississippi. He continues to maintain his clinical certifications to remain up to date on current standards of clinical medicine.
Chris Chandler and his wife Kelley, along with their 3 children, Evan, Bailey and Mary Helen, currently reside in Mantee, MS. He is an active member of First Baptist Church in Mathiston and serves as the Discipleship Training Director, small group leader and Deacon. Chris also is an active board member with the Webster County Homeschool Association and Aberdeen Rotary.
Amy Joslin,
Director of Nursing, Adult-Geriatric Acute Care-Nurse Practitioner, AGAC-NP
Mrs. Joslin is the Director of Nursing with Monroe Regional Hospital of Aberdeen. She has many years of experience, in the Healthcare field, including administration. Amy joined the Monroe team in 2014, serving as the Nurse Manager for the Medical-Surgical Unit and the Emergency Department.
In her current role, she is accountable for all the nursing services and ancillary services, including Lab, Radiology, Respiratory, Surgery, Sleep Lab, Inpatient and Outpatient Therapy Services.
Before joining the MRH team, Amy served as Trauma Program Manager at a Level II and Level III Trauma Center with Baptist Memorial Hospital. She also worked in an industrial setting as the Medical and Occupational Nurse for Steel Dynamics in Columbus, MS. Her career work has included Workman’s Comp, injury prevention, and ISO Quality Programs. Over the years, she has been responsible for clinical, operational, and financial leadership for nursing, both inpatient and outpatient: physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy development and growth management.
Amy received her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from the Mississippi University of Women, Columbus MS; her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Phoenix University, and her Masters of Nursing AGAC-NP, Walden University. She has completed 550 clinical provider hours before graduating with her Master’s Degree in 2017. Graduating with honors and inducted into the Honor Society while completing her Masters of Nursing and received nominations for the Daisy Award and other scholar honors. She is currently certified as a TNCC Nurse, ACLS, ABLS, and PALS.
Her nursing career has been dedicated to creating high-quality care, reliable health processes, financial stability in budgeting and staffing, and developing the next generation of nurses to lead in these ever-changing times.
Tracey Hathcock
Community Marketing/Behavioral Health Intake Coordinator
Tracey Hathcock is currently the Community Marketing and Behavioral Health Intake Coordinator for Monroe Regional Hospital but has worn many hats here at the Aberdeen location. Ms. Hathcock has over 28 years of healthcare experience in the medical field. It began at Gilmore Memorial Hospital for 20 years, and then Tracey came to help MRH open the Outpatient Surgery Center. Ms. Hathcock has served in various capacities throughout her tenure here at MRH as the Out Patient Surgery Scheduling Coordinator, Ward Clerk, Nursing Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Transporter, and the Senior Care Unit’s Activity Director.
