Dr. Hashmat completed his residency in Neurology at the University of Connecticut in Hartford, Connecticut, then served a two year fellowship in EEG, epilepsy, nerve conduction studies/EMG and neuromuscular disorders at MCP Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
These programs provided him with in-depth training into the field of Neurology and prepared him to enter into real-life care of a wide array of all general neurology patients. Since 2001 he has been part of a multi-specialty group and also had a private practice.
